The SoundPower Orchestra is a professional, contemporary orchestra based in the North East of England featuring 35 of the most talented freelance musicians.

Equally at home delivering a concert of Epic Movie Themes, 70s Disco and Soul or providing a dynamic musical backdrop for Celebrity Concert, the orchestra thrives on its versatility, variety and dynamism.

The orchestra was recently featured on BBC2’s Star Gazing event with Professor Brian Cox.

Soundpower is led by Musical Director and Freelance Composer, George Hastings, who’s clients include the BBC, Ant & Dec and The Bolshoi Ballet and who’s writing partner is former Dr Who Colin Baker.

The unique and dynamic Soundpower Orchestra is available for concerts and as a backing orchestra in major UK and international venues.
